A Distribution-Free THWMA Control Chart under Ranked Set Sampling

چکیده

The basic assumption of the parametric control charts is that underlying process follows specific distribution. appropriateness questionable when different industrial applications do not support this desired assumption. Recently, nonparametric have been introduced to overcome deficiency charts. Nonparametric same in-control run-length characteristics for all continuous distributions and are robust. On other hand, ranked set sampling technique preferred over simple random with because it reduces variability improves chart’s performance. So, study aims propose a triple homogenously weighted moving average chart under Wilcoxon signed-rank test (regarded as NPTHWMA RSS ) further enhance location monitoring. Monte Carlo simulations used computational purposes. proposed performance compared competing charts, like TEWMA-SR, TEWMA- id="M2"> X ¯ , TEWMA-SN, id="M3"> SR id="M4"> NPDHWMA comparison revealed id="M5"> outperformed particularly small moderate shifts in location. Finally, real-life application presented quality practitioners illustrate effectiveness chart.
